Made Her Think Talon Ring from Refinery29’s Save Fashion Sale in NYC.

This ring was on my wishlist for a while, so when I got the chance to snatch one up for half-price at Save Fashion, I snatched indeed. It’s silver, not gunmetal, so I’m guessing these were samples, but I love it nonetheless. Even though every guy thinks it’s supposed to be an ear of corn (…), it has landed a permanent spot next to one of my favorite Ninaki rings. Would love to get my hands on the rose gold version next.

Refinery29 put on the best sale I’ve ever been too, so I really hope they set up shop on the west coast soon! More of my Save Fashion buys to come…

and I’ve finally stopped biting my nails!!!! I still nibble a thumb or two sometimes, but this is the first time in years they’ve been long enough to even paint! How’d I kick the habit? Wearing fake nails (silk) for 1 month while they grew out, then using my new ring to inspire upkeep of my natural nails. Hey, it worked.
