This was pretty much my NY heatwave uniform. The heat was unbearble, so a sheer top and short shorts were a must. As I’ve said before, I really don’t do flats, so luckily these wedges were comfortable to get me through my trip. I am still living in them. Even though I now have these awkward striped tan lines going up my foot…

Oh, and my $5 street vendor glass broke the next day.

The girls are wearing Geronimo by Jenny Reyes & we had a blast shooting – Kate & Riki are ridiculous cute. I recently watched Kate on a Scrubs re-run & watched Riki starring in Last House on the Left while I was in NY (TOO good!). Talk about character range. Wore this to the Ford party last night, where I met up with Jackie and Geri. Heard lil Wayne was in the building, but I couldn’t stalk him out. I realized my (and Geri’s!) neon nails glow in the dark… which could have been cool in an all-black ensemble, except my fingernails are all chipped… no bueno. Brian & AJ hooked me up with my recent favorite LBD for my birthday (love them!!) and I’ve been getting some good mileage out of it ever since.

Yesterday was just one of those perfect sunny LA days. Sunday morning Canter’s, shopping at the Fairfax Flea Market, followed by walking in Silverlake, the best $3 meal ever at el Siete Mares, and a movie (Away We Go – so cute!). All alongside great company. I bought another copy of Alice for the collection, an Indiana Jones-ish hat and the sailor hat above. Deanie got 2 great chairs for a steal, Amanda got a Duke tank, and an old seven-up crate. It’s now Monday and I’m still in a sun coma.
