Hit up the Op launch party last night with Jackie! I was mildly concerned I’d be overdressed in this because (a) it’s Op, a lifestyle brand, (b) it was at Mel’s diner – pretty much a trendy Denny’s – and (c) it’s LA – all signs point to casual. But this vintage dress has been sitting in my closet for a while, and I felt like wearing it, so I did (ya, it’s a tad short, but I had on shorts underneath, just fyi). My outfit ended up fitting in fine, Op threw a great party, and we had a great time scarfing down all the diner food on a platter.

This dress is fab! While you do have a point that L.A. is usually ALWAYS on the casual side, I do think it is better to be over-dressed rather than under-dressed.
