I have had my eyes on these Sam Edelman Balenciaga look-alikes forever now… I watched them like a hawk and just a few days ago, they went on sale with a free shipping code (SP89013). From $170 to $99, compared to Balenciaga’s “Price Upon Request” which, even if they were still available, I couldn’t afford (about $2,000).
Yes, Mary-Kate Olsen made them catch my eye last summer when she wore them non-stop.
I plan to:
- One day apologize to Nicolas for wearing these knockoffs
- Remove the quilted harness.
- Pair with feminine frocks and skirts (I like the contrast with the S&M structure)
I have a thing for quirky high heels, so for me, these are totally wearable and don’t tell me they’re passe. Even if I had bought the original, I’d still be rocking them.
