Neo LA jacket; Hudson jeans; Zara mens top; Balenciaga shoes; H&M hat
Here are the Balenciaga’s and just maybe (but sooo probably not) my last post about shoes for a little while? I got the jacket over the summer at Refinery 29’s Save Fashion sale in NY. I love it but it’s one of those upside-down-on-purpose things that I feel like I’m still wearing incorrectly somehow, but it works haha.
BTW I named my Balenciaga’s “Food” and my YSL’s “Rent”.

Gosh that jacket is great, I just checked ebay to see if they had any and there were a few for a pretty penny. Its nice to save up for something beautiful like that!

@danmyy – the names are just a joke implying that the money for these shoes could have (and probably should have) gone to food and rent haha. but also because i work hard so that my love of fashion will pay for my food and rent.
@niki – the “tails” of the jacket are actually attached! it’s like a cardigan sewn into a jacket.
@sophie wears – i’m pretty used to high heels so wedges are always nice. i don’t know if “comfort” is the word i’d use quite yet as they’re still being broken in. but they’re not bad! definitely need some insoles and shoe cookies though.

Boy am I jealous of ‘Food’ and ‘Rent’… Who needs nourishment or a roof when you have pretty shoes. I like that the Balenciagas look like platform moccasins, I’d buy them for the sheer fact that I could tell people I was casually dressed even though the shoes are like 5″ high!

Just got those wedges today in taupe; they are mad high. I would definitely place them under the ‘work’ and ’special occasion’ categories.

Those Balenciaga wedges are dreamy. I thought about buying them when I saw them at the DSW (I know, dreams DO come true!) a week ago but they didn’t have black — grey I believe. I can’t believe they were down to $99! Insane! I did manage to snag two pairs of the cork/leather platform sandals. Pictures will eventually be posted on my blog. Lovely outfit though — especially the hair. I’m so curious as to how you do it. I’d love to try something new in 2010.
