Last night I attended the GenArt Fresh Faces show at the Peterson auto museum (which was the biggest and most Bryant Park-like show of LA Fashion Month – which is officially coming to a close). The show was good, not mind blowing, but definitely some new(ish) designers who will become Urban Outfitters staples if they’re not already (Rory Beca, Seneca Rising, MG Black Label to name a couple).
After the show I bumped into a friend who had modeled in the show who introduced me to a friend that was so beautiful and tall I can only assume she is a model too.
So short story already too long, this girl had on the most amazing sweater. She couldn’t remember the Korean label, but said she found it in SF for $90. So the 3 of us proceeded to investigate her tag, and I made a mental note because I had to find it. And here it is (above) by Kai-Aakmann. I am in a wardrobe slump which I blame on numerous things: finances, jury duty (I’m going on day 8 in trial, bleh!), and the fact that back-to-school shopping no longer occurs in my adult life.
But, I deserve something nice (I have many exciting things to pat myself on the back for this month – more soon), and I think this will be it. Provided OAK gives me a price match or Revolve re-stocks in black).
EDIT: As the self-proclaimed queen of e-discount shopping, I put in a special order request at Revolve and they re-stocked! Got 30% off using the code TOBIINSTYLE30 – which had supposedly expired last week. $115 $80 + free shipping. Score? I think yes.

I made a skirt with a hole in the middle. It’s really fun because your neat socks or stockings show around the thigh area. I like this sweater I’m sure it will look great on you..:)

That sweater looks very fashionable. Congrats on finding it and getting such a good deal on it. I have a cousin who is looking for one right now overseas, I am going to have to go see if I can buy one. I will probably stick with more conservative outfits, but I know this will look great on my cousin Sam, and I bet it looks great on you.
