While I really like Lily Allen, I fucking love Jenny Lewis.
I remember my mom driving me, Leah, & Deanie (my bffs) to Silverlake for Rilo Kiley shows on school nights, so I feel a moral obligation to point out that Lily Allen’s new “It’s Not Fair” video shamelessly bites off Jenny Lewis’ “Rise up with Fists”. They do both look suuuper cute in their respective videos though.
I guess this is Lily’s game, but come on, play nice.

Oh christ. Everything is derivative of everything else, nothing is original.
But… but… Lily Allen’s song doesn’t even suit the style of the clip! Jenny Lewis’ music suits it, it has such a tongue-in-cheek country style.
Oh also, Jenny’s hair and dress cannot be matched by anyone ever. Not that I’m a biased Jenny Lewis fan or anything… ;)
I had such a better video in mind, kind of disappointed in this video. Especially since she has crappy stage presence but tried harder than usual.
