I SURVIVED 2009! I think this is the closest I get to a lame holiday card?
2009 was… tumultuous. The year started and ended on the ups, but those in-between periods kind of blew. 2010 is already off to a good start, and I feel that excited fuzzy energy when I think about the year to come.
THANK YOU all sooo much for your continued support. I’ve said it before, but can never say it enough: your comments, emails (I’m a little behind on these, but getting to it), visits, links, etc. mean the world to me. I wish us all our best year yet & tons of love and success.
(PS – this photo is an outtake from a TBA project my friend Julia is working on, where I had to pick a favorite spot. Probably morbid to some, and no disrespect to the dearly departed or whatever, but my favorite place in nearly any city is the cemetery. The cheesey ‘2009′ grave was my own addition. Sorry, Julia.)

I will only love 2010 if a) we see more of each other and b) will be left unwritten for now, as I have not made up my mind.
I dig the image…it would make for a great card. =D
And you’d probably love the cemetery near my house. Headstones dating back to the Civil War. It’s a pretty cool walk-through.

Why cemeteries?

I think my love of cemeteries/graveyards comes from a lot of things: firstly, I love ANYTHING haunted/creepy/eerie, but I really enjoy the calm of the cemetery. They are like parks in that I can walk, sit, read, play with my dog, etc. but in general, but fewer couples making out, kids screaming. Graveyards have more stories to tell, so much history, some really awesome architecture, and I have a lot of memories there (learning to drive, traveling to scotland and visiting the haunted graveyards). And I guess my overactive imagination helps too haha.

Because of you, I re-want the YSLs though I promised myself that I would chill on the expensive footwear for awhile. I saw them on someone and they looked awful but then I see them on you and absolutely love them. AND you have the color that I was looking for as well. If you don’t mind my asking, which YSL were you able to find your size in that color? Thanks a bunch!
