Days like today remind me what I love most about New York City.
Young, ambitious, creative, and generally friggin awesome talent.
I spent my afternoon at the HeavyRoc Music studio, with the man-at-the-helm DJ B-Roc (aka Ben), lady-of-the-house Stacy Roc, “the talent” Samuel, and the most well-connected person I know (and my mentor) Brandon G. I fell in love with each of them, and with Brandon all over again haha. I’m officially on board to lend a creative/fashion hand to some goings-on at the label, and after meeting with the HeavyRoc family, I’m pumped.
I can’t tell you how satisfying it is to sit a room full of creative people who… just have “it”. Oh wait- yes I can! It’s really satisfying!
I’m not sure what can and can’t be said for now, but I can very confidently say that we should all watch out for the Heavy Roc takeover.
