“What do you think about style network casting interns to give them a fall internship at a “prominent” fashion magazine and document their experience?”
Answer: I don’t. I just don’t care anymore. As a pathway into the fashion industry, I think it is just as legitimate as ANTM models & the Hills. Take that as you please.
Speaking of ANTM, Toccara looks fieeeerce [does the Ms. Jay finger wave] in the new Vogue Italia!! But remember kids, for every Toccara-in-Vogue-Italia there are 50+ Adrienne Currys… Remember this?
Would love to hear your opinions: Sound off!

all i have to say is congratulations to toccara for being in vogue italia. she looks fabulous.
I think the choice is really up to the individual. Personally, I would never do a reality type of thing. For one, I don’t want my life on TV. And then I don’t want to be known as the girl that was on a reality show and is ‘famous’ because of that. The stigma associated with it isn’t worth it to me. I rather be known and get known for my real talents and contributions…
But, it is amazing to think that today, you can launch your career by winning a reality show or being on one. These opportunities weren’t possible before and could very well be the ticket for those that really do have skills!
Hahaha I would NEVER go on a reality show, but I mean, I guess…whatever puts your foot in the door? If American Idol can launch legit singers like Kelly Clarkson, I suppose a hardworking person can reap success in fashion this way too…
HMM. Thanks for answering my question. I don’t think I’ll try out for that show anyway. I agree with Katlin at urple. The stigma ain’t worth it. You never know if you will be portrayed in a good way or in a negative way.

Ya, my friend who does “reality” TV pretty much told me their job isn’t to “make you look good” it’s to get ratings, so you hit that one on the mark! haha
